365 Project Day 1 - Looking for the shot

Today was a special day.

As always, while working, i like to hear a couple of podcasts. Next on the list, F-Stop Beyond. This was a special one, where Ron Dawson (the host) interviewed his wife Tasra (how cool is that!) After hearing an inspiring story, i learn about Tasra 365. Basically, it's an initiative to make a photographer 300% better in a year. How? As said by Mr. Scott Bourne:

1) Shoot a picture everyday
2) Read something out of the camera manual everyday
3) See photography from the masters everyday

If one does this everyday, one can be a better photographer by 300%. So Tasra started the initiative, tasra365.com, and has invited others to participate. After being so inspired, what else could i do? I had to sign up! Now the key is to keep at it ;-)

So, without further ado.... my Day 1 image.

Image: As the name implies, i am looking for the shot to start this project. Maybe not the best shot, but hey... i got a whole year to get better!!!

Manual: At the time of posting this post, its 12:30 am and i am sleeeepy, so forgive me on this one. Tomorrow i will post... promise!

Inspiration: Henri Cartier-Bresson. The master of the decisive moment. I bought the book À Propos de Paris and i am just amazed by how someone can capture, in a blink of an eye, such stories and emotions. What a way to start this project!
